REQUIREMENT
Printed circuit boards are
subject to rework for many different reasons, all of which can be
catered for at CAE. Common component changed and modification of
parts of the circuiting are a regular occurrence and this is an
area in which CAE can be used most effectively. While one or two
boards for rework or repair may be easily accommodated, larger batches
of product, or an ongoing modification to assemblies takes up too
much of the manufacturer's time and labour resource.

STAFF
CAE employs skilled rework operators
trained to its own exacting standards to carry out these functions
for its varied customer base. The belief at CAE is that the diverse
nature of products handled enables CAE staff to apply the best methods
to all the work carried out for the customer.
The basis behind CAE's training policy is that the substrate is
the most important component in a printed circuit assembly. This
philosophy has a tendency to be forgotten and that is where problems
can occur.
